(Correcting the no of passengers in headline and 2nd line

An Air India flight carrying as many as 193 rpt 193 Indian nationals, who were stranded in war-ravaged Yemen, landed here tonight.

They were part of evacuees who were brought to Djibouti from Sanaa earlier in the day today, Kerala Minister for Diaspora K C Joseph told PTI.

The evacuees, mostly from Kerala and Tamil Nadu, were welcomed at the airport by Joseph and state government officials.

Yesterday, a group of 330 Indian nationals evacuated from strife-torn Yemen had reached here by a special AI flight.

This is the third landing of a plane carrying Indian nationals evacuated from Yemen at Kochi.
 

In the early hours on Thursday, an IAF plane carrying 168 Indian nationals evacuated from Yemen had landed at Kochi.
