Companies will now have to intimate the government about appointment of auditors by filling a separate form.
In this regard, Corporate Affairs Ministry has made available 'Form ADT-1' for intimating appointment of auditors by companies.
"Pursuant to this, Stakeholders are requested to file Form ADT-1 as a separate e-form, and not as an attachment to the Form GNL-2," Corporate Affairs Ministry said in a release today.

The Ministry is implementing the Companies Act, 2013, whose many provisions have come into effect from April 1.

International Innovation Corps partners with USAID * International Innovation Corps (IIC) has partnered with USAID to expand its efforts to provide innovative solutions for India's social issues.
IIC, a fellowship programme in India and housed at the University of Chicago, has entered into a partnership with the Research and Innovation Fellowships programme at USAID's Global Development Lab.
"This new support from RI Fellowships will enable the IIC to expand its efforts to provide innovative solutions to India's social issues," according to a statement.
The IIC recruits, trains and sends teams of recent University of Chicago and leading Indian university graduates to work on ambitious development projects with the Indian government for one year, it added.
Launched this year, IIC is led by co-founders Anup Malani, Professor of Law at the University of Chicago; Phoebe Holtzman, researcher at the University of Chicago, and Sanjay Bhargava, a founding member of PayPal.
USAID is an American government agency that mainly works towards eradicating poverty.
