The Indian Cotton Federation is organising a two-day 'International Cotton Conference' here from August 19.
The event will be a platform for the entire textile chain of ginners, mills, garment manufacturers, cotton and yarn traders, textile machinery manufacturers to exchange their views on business opportunities.
A large number of actual users of cotton -- textile mills -- will be participating in the deliberations, since the region has India's 50 per cent spinning capacity and 70 per cent of knitwear garment facilities, said P Nataraj said, Chairman of the organising committee of the conference.
