Cottonseed oil prices moved up by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on scattered buying.

However, other edible and non-edible oils traded in narrow range in limited deals as demand from neighbouring states remained negligible due to Holi festival on Friday.

Traders said scattered buying by retailers against tight supplies from producing belts helped cottonseed oil prices go up.
