In restricted activity, cottonseed oil prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on increased buying by retailers to meet rising demand from local parties.

However, movements in other edible and non-edible oils remained restricted in the absence of worthwhile activity and settled at previous levels.
