Cottonseed oil prices declined by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to slackened demand.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said sluggish demand from vanaspati millers against adequate stocks position mainly led to decline in cottonseed oil prices.
