Ten country-made bombs found kept in an abandoned bag near a road side tree in this district were seized by police today.
Locals noticed an unclaimed bag under the tree near Veppampatti village along Theni-Kumuli road and alerted police, who on examination found it contained ten country bombs and a pipe, they said.
Explosive experts have been called to ascertain the exact nature of the bombs.
