Four persons have been arrested after a country made pistol and catridges were seized from them at nearby Tirupur, police said here today.
Based on a tip of that a gang was trying to sell arms, police rushed to Thekkalur, 40 kms from here and found four persons moving in an auto rickshaw in suspicious manner, police said today.
After search, police recovered a country made pistol and 10 cartridges from them and the three wheeler was also seized, police said.
