Veteran country singer Kenny Rogers has announced his retirement after six decades in the show business and 76 albums.
The 77-year-old, music legend made the announcement while promoting his new Christmas album, "Once Again It's Christmas" on "Today" saying he want to spend more time with his twin boys and wife, reported Us magazine.
"It's happily sad or sadly happy. I'm going to do a big worldwide tour, and it's going to be my last. I'm going to say goodbye at that point; I've done this long enough. There's a fine line between being driven and being selfish, and I think I crossed that line when I was younger," Rogers said.
