A couple and their four-year-old child were killed today after being hit by a speeding local train while crossing railway tracks in suburban Jogeshwari, a railway official said.
The victims were yet to be identified, the official said.
"The incident took place between Jogeshwari and Goregaon stations on the Western Railway line this afternoon when the trio was crossing railway tracks," he said.
Police inspected the site and recovered their bodies. Further details are awaited.
