Nanhi (30) and her husband Satish (32), residents of Pathra village of the district, were allegedly attacked by their neighbour Babu Ram yesterday.
The two were rushed to a nearby hospital where Nanhi succumbed to injuries, they said, adding that condition of Satish was stated to be critical.
A manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
