A couple, who allegedly lodged
a false complaint about kidnapping of their child and along with family members blocked vehicular traffic to protest the abduction, were booked today by the Haryana Police.
Manish Jain, a resident of Bawara Mohalla in Rohtak, had filed a complaint in a police station on Monday that his 11-year-old son Priyansh had been missing.

The complaint said the family members suspected the child had been kidnapped, police said adding they also blocked vehicular traffic at Kaccha Beri road in Rohtak to protest the incident.
Preliminary investigations, however, revealed the child went to Delhi after he was rebuked by his mother, they said.
A police team found the child near ITO in the national capital, police said adding he was handed over to the family.
The child told police he went to Delhi after his mother had scolded him.
A case had been registered and Jain and his wife were booked on the charge of lodging a false complaint.
