A couple was booked for allegedly installing a hidden camera in the trial room of their show room in a mall here, police said today.
The complainant alleged that the incident took place last evening when she had gone to the ready-made shop to pick some garments. She raised an alarm after spotting a pencil-like spy camera in the trial room, police said quoting her complaint.
She came out and raised the issue with the owner of the show room, identified as Rohit Kumar. However, he expressed ignorance about the matter, police said.
The angry customer then lodged a complaint at the nearby police station.
Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner of Police, Jagdley Nilambri today said that a case has been registered against the owner of the show room and his wife.
The two accused were absconding, police said.
