Facing financial problems, a childless couple today allegedly committed suicide in their house near Vadakara, about 40 kms from here, police said.
Sathyan (52), a goldsmith, and his wife Shylaja (45) of Keezhakmukku ended their lives by consuming poison, they said.
Neighbours, who peeped through the window after the house remained closed for a long time this morning, found the couple dead and informed police.
