A middle-aged couple was killed when the wall of their house collapsed here today following continuous rains.
Kanhai Gond (45) and Meena Gond (42) were killed when the 'kutchcha" wall of their house collapsed in Muslimpatti village under Nizambad police station area here, Superintendent of Police, Dinesh Chandra Dubey said.
Both were in the house when the wall collapsed on them around noon, police said, adding, the bodies have been sent for postmortem.
Police officials and a revenue department team have reached the spot, he added.
The region has been receiving continuous rains since yesterday.
