A course on "Secular Ethics for Higher Education" was launched by the Dalai Lama at a city-based institute here today.
The course aims to provide a common foundation for multi-cultural diversity based on universal values of dignity and equity.
The course has been developed under Dalai Lama's guidance, a release by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences said.
The course which starts on August 19 will be offered to all Masters students and M.Phil and Ph.D scholars and will involve 30 hours of teaching and 60 hours of practice.
