Court asks police to look into complaint against Ramesh

Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Lakhwinder Kaur ordered the Station House Officer (SHO) of the city police station to look into the complaint by an NGO against Ramesh for his remarks.

The direction was issued after NGO Youth Citizen Council, filed a case in the court, seeking action against Ramesh.

In the complaint, the NGO's president claimed that the Rural Development Minister's remarks had hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community outrage religious.

Remarking on the lack of sufficient number of public toilets in India, Ramesh had recently said that toilets were far more important than the temples in the country.
