Court awards lifer to four for killing three tribals

A district court sentenced four persons to life imprisonment today for killing three tribals over a land dispute four years ago.

Additional District and Sessions court judge Anil Kumar Jha found the four guilty and awarded the punishment to them.

The three tribals were killed in a clash in November 2012 at Bhatsara village over land dispute.

The four convits are in jail.

Earlier, the Patna High Court had ordered the district court to conduct speedy trial of the case.
