A Bankura court today convicted 23 people for killing three farmers in Raiband area of the district over 24 years ago.
Additional District Judge Masood Hussain Khan today held 23 people guilty of killing three farmers in the Raiband area of the district on March 12, 1993.
The judge would pronounce the quantum of sentence against the convicts tomorrow.
According to the prosecution, three farmers - R Rana, P Rana and R Rana were cultivating their land when 23 people, all CPI(M) supporters attacked and killed them.
An FIR was lodged against the 23 people for killing them.
