The judicial custody of 'Pulsar' Suni, arrested for his alleged role in abduction and assault of a popular South Indian actress, was today extended till August one by an Angamaly magisterial court near here. Counsel for Suni, arrested in the last week of February, submitted to the court that a bail application has been filed in the court. The court will consider the bail plea on July 20, he said.

Asked by media outside the court whether he had handed over the phone used for allegedly taking the video of the actress, he told "the VIP" lodged in the Aluva prison could tell about it.

The police has also arrested actor Dileep for allegedly plotting the February 17 abduction and assault of the South Indian actress. He is lodged in the Aluva prison.

Suni, meanwhile, was booked allegedly for attempting to abduct another Malayalam actress in 2011, the police said today.

An FIR has been lodged against Suni at Ernakulam central police on the basis of a complaint filed by film producer Johny Sagarika, the police said.

Arrest of Suni, currently lodged in Kakkanad district jail, would be effected soon, they said.

Suni allegedly plotted the abduction of the actress in a van while she was on the way to a hotel here in 2011.
