A special court of today granted bail to three relatives of suspended Punjab Police DSP Jagdish Bhalla who was arrested for being an alleged drug smuggling mastermind.
Judge H S Madan asked Bhola' wife Gurmeet Kaur, father-in-law Dalip Singh Mann and mother-in-law Amarjit Kaur to furnish bond papers and personal bond of Rs 75,000 each.
Jagdish Bhola, who was arrested in connection with the multi-crore rupee drug scandal in Punjab, was brought here from Mumbai.

Satish Karkara, lawyer for Bhola and his family, told the media that the court has directed Enforcement Directorate to file the charge sheets in the case on next date.
The court has fixed September 30 as next date of hearing in the case.
During the last hearing, Joint Director of Enforcement Directorate Niranjan Singh had filed the third supplementary charge sheet that pointed out that drug money was invested abroad.
The court had earlier issued summons to Bhola's father Balshinder Singh, mother Baltej Kaur, wife Gurmeet Kaur, father-in-law Dalip Singh Mann, mother-in-law Amarjit Kaur, besides Jagminder Kaur, wife of Youth Akali Dal leader Maninder Singh Bittu Aulakh, Joginder Kaur, a relative of Aulakh, Avtar Singh alias Tari, his wife Sundeep Kaur and Baljit Singh for appearance today.
The first charge sheet in the case was filed by ED against suspended DSP Jagdish Bhola on January 13 last year.
Twelve more persons were named in the supplementary charge sheet filed by ED in the case.
Bhola is the alleged mastermind of the Rs 600-crore synthetic drug racket exposed by Punjab Police in 2013.
His alleged network spanned across Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and other states with supply chain linking Canada, North America and Europe allegedly through 50 NRIs.
The decorated wrestler was suspended from Punjab Police after his name figured in a drug smuggling racket in 2002.
