Court hall No 1 in madurai bench for administrative judge

: To optimize available resources, Chief Justice of Madras High Court Sanjay Kishan Kaul has decided to allow Court Hall No.1 and chamber in the Madurai bench, reserved for the CJ of the principal court, to be used by the administrative judge coming in quarterly rotation.

Officials said seniormost judges, who are also administrative judges, would be accommodated in the court hall no.1

Justice S Nagamuthu, the incumbent administrative judge of the Bench, will be the first to occupy the chamber attached and the Court Hall No.1 from today.

He began hearing cases along with Justice M V Muralidaran at the first court hall.
