A local court has ordered lodging of an FIR against a senior IAS officer and three other persons for allegedly transferring Railways land to a private company using fake documents.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Vijay Chand Yadav directed the local police to register the case against the then District Magistrate Pandhari Yadav and others, said advocate Vijay Kumar Malviya who moved the court in this connection.

Malviya had alleged that Yadav and three others -- senior divisional engineer Railways Santosh Gupta, PWD executive engineer I D Ram and a senior functionary of a private firm -- had got the land of Railways transferred to the company in 2010 for personal use with the help of fake documents.

The CJM found the four prima facie guilty and ordered the police to lodge an FIR against them under relevant sections of IPC, Malviya said.

Yadav is presently posted as Secretary, Housing and Urban Development in Lucknow.
