Court punishment to boy: clean school for two months

In a unique punishment, a Juvenile Court in Sheikhpura district today sentenced a delinquent that he would clean his school and also help in gardening for two months.

Juvenile Court male member Nivas Kumar said the boy was caught while appearing for the Bihar secondary board examination on behalf of another examinee. The sentence was awarded by a three-member bench of the court.

Kumar said the boy would also have to bring a certificate from the principal of his school after completion of his punishment, only then he would be absolved of the charges against him.

The three-member bench was presided over by judicial magistrate Sanjeev Kumar Rai, while Sushma Kumari was its female member.
