The CJM's court here today refused to admit the charge sheet, filed by the CID yesterday, in connection with the alleged torture of a woman at Sattor village in Birbhum district on the ground that it was incomplete.

In the charge sheet filed in the court of CJM, Suri, Indranil Chatterjee, CID had accused an SI Kartik Mohan Ghosh and three constables of tOrturing Haitunnesha Bibi at her parents' house at nearby Kalamdanga village.

Bibi is the relative of a BJP activist of the area wanted by the police in connection with a bomb attack on a TMC worker.

Kuntal Chatterjee, the Assistant public prosecutor, said that the charge sheet did not reflect the totality of the investigation as the present status of the chagesheeted persons was not mentioned.

Besides, a number of questions regarding the investigation remained unanswered, Chatterjee said.

The court fixed March 17 for further hearing of the matter and ordered the investigating officer to clarify some points mentioned in the charge sheet.
