A local court in Dantewada district today rejected the bail pleas of two journalists who were arrested for entering a government school during an exam allegedly without permission and misbehaving with the staff.
District and Session Judge Nirmal Minj dismissed the bail plea of Prabhat Singh and Deepak Jaiswal in connection with the case, their lawyer Kshitij Dubey told PTI.
While Prabhat Singh was arrested on March 22under the Information Technology Act for posting objectionable content on a Whatsapp group and three other cases (including the present one),Jaiswalwas held on March 26 on a complaint for allegedly entering the government higher secondary school, Geedam, in Dantewada without permission during an exam and manhandling the staff members.

Both of them are based in Dantewada district.
"We had filed the bail plea in connection with the case of entering the examination centre today before District and Session court, but it was rejected," Dubey said.
According to police, principal of the school, Ranjeet Tekam, had complained that Jaiswal and Prabhat, had entered the school during the examination and tried to recover money from him by threatening him to publish false reports of cheating.
