In fresh trouble for the UP government, a local court has rejected a closure report filed by the police in an alleged embezzlement case involving sitting revenue minister Ambika Chaudhary.
This comes close on the heels of Raghuraj Pratap Singh, alias Raja Bhaiyya, who was holding the portfolio of food and civil supplies, being accused in a case of murder of a police officer, following which he resigned.
The court ordered further investigations in the case involving Chaudhary last evening.
