Court seeks call data records of Jerusalem Mathaiah

A local court today directed three telecom providers to furnish by July 1 the call data records of Jerusalem Mathaiah and his family members in connection with a case where he has alleged threat to his life from some TRS leaders.

Mathaiah is one of the accused in the cash-for-vote case involving TDP leaders.

CID approached the metropolitan magistrate's court here seeking directions to three telecom service providers to submit details for further investigations of a case where Mathaiah has alleged that some leaders of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Telangana threatened him on phone.
 

Mathaiah is an accused in the cash-for-vote case registered by Telangana ACB involving Telangana TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy.

The court today directed the three telecom service providers to submit details of CDR pertaining to Mathaiah, his father and his wife's cell phones from May 1 to June 20.
