Court sends Sarwar to 14-days judicial custody

A court here today remanded Mohammad Sarwar, a suspect in the 2002 terror attack on American Center in Kolkata, to 14-days judicial custody.

Hazaribagh Additional District and Sessions Judge, Surendra Sharma remanded Sarwar to 14-days judicial custody.

After the court order Sarwar was sent to the Hazaribagh Central Jail.

Sarwar was arrested by a team of Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad, Jharkhand Police and Bihar Police from Neemchak Bathani police station area in Bihar's Gaya district late last night.

He is also a suspect in an attack on a CBI team and Jharkhand Police in Hazaribagh in the same year.
