A Bankura court today sentenced a man to life imprisonment for murdering his wife over two years ago.
Additional District Judge Sukumar Sutradhar awarded life imprisonment to Taraknath Lohar for stabbing his his wife Seema Lohar to death.
Taraknath had an altercation with Seema on February 2, 2015 after which he attacked her with a knife and stabbed her to death.
Seema's father had lodged an FIR against Taraknath for murdering his daughter.
