Branding Congress as 'Hungama Party', BJP today alleged that court summons issued in the National Herald case is the reason behind the party's move to disrupt and stall the Parliament proceedings.
"The government had a cordial interaction with the Opposition over tea. But judiciary and CBI are independent ...The Congress resorted to stalling tactics in Parliament after the court summons were issued," BJP spokesman Shahnawaz Hussain said while addressing a press conference here.
Hussain said it was the Congress that was showing intolerance and had become a "Hungama Party", which was trying to block the passage of laws needed for the country.
