The ex-assistant Jessica LaBrie filed the lawsuit in LA County Superior Court, claiming the 48-year-old singer intentionally withheld her salary because LaBrie refused to "commit fraudulent, unlawful, and unethical acts."
LaBrie doesn't specify why Love wanted a hacker or what kind of legal documents she asked her to forge, reported TMZ Online.
She said she worked for Love from June 2010 to July 2011 -- often working in excess of 60 hours a week -- but Love only paid her a fraction of her salary.
Love's representative said he couldn't comment on the suit because he hasn't seen it yet.
