Jharkhand High Court on Tuesday
decided to hear only urgent matters till March 31 in view of coronavirus scare, an official said.
Urgent matters such as bail, anticipatory bail, eviction, demolition, disconnection of electricity will be taken up by the high court, its register general Ambuj Nath said.
The decision was taken by the full bench headed by Chief Justice Ravi Ranjan, a day after the state government announced the closure of all educational institutions and some other places till April 14.
The court also urged advocates, whose cases have been listed, that petitioners or their family members should be allowed inside the court with a proper pass.
