Cow slaughter news spark anger in Ghaziabad's Loni town

Angry with the news of cow slaughter in the locality, hundreds of residents of Loni town today blocked Delhi-Saharanpur road and demanded the arrest of the people involved in the act.

Locals, including men and women blocked gathered blocked road connecting Saharanpur with Delhi and shouted slogans against police

Today around 4 am some residents of Ram Park Laxmi enclave colony saw three miscreants attacking on the neck of a cow and a calf, BJP district president Nand Kishore Gurjar told PTI.

After the locals gave a call, all of them fled the spot leaving the cattle in blood.

Sensing trouble heavy contingents of police force and PAC were deployed to avoid any untoward incident and senior police officials pacified the agitated residents.
 

After their assurance of stringent action against miscreants traffic movement was restored.

Deputy SP Loni Arvind Yadav told that an FIR under relevant sections of prohibition of Cow Slaughter Act has been registered unknown persons and a manhunt is on to nab them.
