"Prima facie it appears that it was accidental killing as the person killed did not have any rivalry," District Magistrate Alok Tewari said.
Ram Babu (23) was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to injuries, the DM said.
As a precautionary measure, police has been posted in the village, which is about 35 kms from Kosi Kalan where communal riots took place on June 1, Tewari said.
FIR was registered by Babu's father which states that the death could have been accidental, he said.
