Cox & Kings posts Rs 118 cr profit for Sep quarter

Tour and travel firm Cox & Kings today reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 118.24 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.

The company had posted a net loss of Rs 94.22 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Cox & Kings said in a regulatory filing.

Consolidated total income from operations stood at Rs 685.39 crore for the quarter under review. It was Rs 867.47 crore for the similar period a year ago.

"Owing to sale of camping division on September 11, 2014, the figures of current quarter and half year are not comparable to corresponding figures last year," Cox & Kings said.
 

Established in 1758, Cox & Kings, apart from its presence overseas, has offices in Indian cities like New Delhi, Goa, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Hyderabad, Pune, Nagpur and Jaipur.
