The CPI today expelled party MP from Jagatsinghpur, Bibhuprasad Tarai for anti-party activities, five days after re-nominating him from the same Lok Sabha constituency for the ensuing elections.
"Jagatsinghpur MP, Bibhu Tarai has been expelled from the primary membership of CPI for anti-party activities," CPI Odisha unit secretary Dibakar Nayak said.
"It was found that Tarai had been hobnobbing with BJD even after being re-nominated by CPI from his home constituency this time," Nayak said.
