State transport minister and Trinamool Congress leader Madan Mitra today accused the CPI(M) and Congress's trade union wing AITUC, of conspiring to create a ruckus during a TMCP meet on Aug 28.

"The CPI(M) and the AITUC is planning to create a problem on August 28 by planning to carry out a rally of taxi drivers at the same time when the scheduled rally of TMCP is about to start," said Mitra.

"I urge the police to take necessary action so that they (CPI(M) and AITUC) can't create any problem. They are planning to block the metro channel area during their rally by arbitarily calling a taxi strike," said Mitra.
