A party delegation led by its state regional secretary Sham Prasad Kesar today met the protesters sitting on a dharna demanding regular water and electricity supply in the township, and extended party's support for their cause.
"We demand that governments should fulfill their demands urgently", Kesar said.
Panun Kashmir and state BJP unit had also extended their support to the demand of the Kashmiri Pandits yesterday.
Situated in Nagorta area on the outskirts of Jammu, the 4,200-flat Jagti township was inaugurated last year as part of Prime Minister's special package to provide better housing to the displaced Kashmiri Pandits living in various camps.
