Bhimpur CPI(M) local committee member Sudhir Mahato was arrested by police for his alleged involvement in the Trinamool Congress worker Dulali Mahato in March, 2010.
The family members had lodged a complaint against Sudhir Mahato alleging that he killed Dulali.
Yesterday, the police had recovered some bones from a place near Bhimpur, the family members of Dulai claimed that it belongs to Dulali.
The police had also recovered six rifles from Jadavbati village yesterday, the sources added.
