Opposition Congress in Tripura today claimed that people's verdict was not reflected in the result of the February 14 assembly elections as the ruling CPI-M had manipulated the EVMs.
"It is not the people's verdict because the CPI-M managed to manipulate the EVMs during the elections with the help of the administration," Tripura Pradesh Congress President (TPCC), Sudip Roy Burman told reporters.
The Left Front secured 50 seats in the 60-member assembly to return to power for the fifth time in a row while the Congress managed to get only 10 seats.

Burman said a case was pending in the Supreme Court regarding manipulation of those EVMs used in Assam.
"How those machines can be used during the Tripura election when a case was pending in the Supreme Court?" he asked.
He said the party was consulting the matter with qualified engineers and contemplating moving court.
