CPI(M) will focus on livelihood issues of people in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
"We will focus on the livelihood issues of people for which the party and mass fronts led by party leaders have been fighting tirelessly round the year," said CPI-M central secretariat member Nilotpal Basu here today.
Party's Haryana unit secretary Inderjit Singh said CPI-M and CPI were the only parties in the state which were upholding value-based principled politics and never played identity politics based on caste or religious sentiments.
"We have rather forged unity of people and defended the rights of marginalised and weaker sections when attacked by dominant vested interests," he said.
