Himachal Pradesh unit of CPI (M) has urged Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh to intervene into the investigations being carried out at Dharamsala to unearth the alleged tribulations done by HPCA.

"It is reliably learnt that large scale irregularities have been committed while allotting land to the HPCA for the construction of the Pavilion Hotel and one of the allegation is that Khasra numbers on which the aforesaid hotel is being constructed are different from the Khasra numbers for which the NOC from the panchayat was forcibly obtained", state secretariat member Takinder Panwar said in a statement here.

It shows the highhandedness of the state government that was bent upon handing over the land to HPCA without even verifying the facts on the ground, the party said, adding that in case the details furnished above are correct, the entire deal to construct the hotel becomes null and void and should be immediately resumed by the government.

The party has asked the government to immediately investigate the facts in the light of fresh revelations and bring the guilty to book.
