CPI will hold its two-day national executive meeting beginning tomorrow where it will discuss a spectrum of issues including Bihar polls and India-Pakistan ties.

During the meeting, the CPI will also review other current economic and political developments including price rise, Naga peace accord, situations in Manipur and Sri Lanka among others.

"Bihar elections will be the focus of our discussion. Left parties will be contesting the polls as an independent and united bloc. We will chalk out details of our campaign for the election," CPI national secretary D Raja said.

The party will also analyse Narendra Modi government's performance on various aspects including reported deepening economic crisis, rise in prices of essential commodities and the Centre's "incompetence" in tackling the same, Raja said.

"The Government has been undermining Parliamentary procedures. Individuals close to BJP-RSS are being appointed on autonomous institutes.

"Individuals with secular and democratic inclinations are being targeted. All these issue will come up for discussion," the Rajya Sabha member said.
