The CPI(ML) Red Star today announced its support to all-India general strike called by the central trade unions on September 2 and asked its cadre to "defeat" Narendra Modi Government for its 'anti-working class' policies.
"The CPI(ML) Red Star has called on all party committees to mobilise militant, vigorous campaign utilising all mass organisations and democratic forces in support of the strike," party general secretary K N Ramchandran said in a statement.
The party accused the NDA Government of following neo-liberal economic policies 'aggressively'.
