Communist Party of India (CPI) today asserted it would fight against the "pro-corporate" and "communal" politics of the BJP-led NDA Government.
The NDA administration is following "anti-poor" and "pro-corporate" policies and the Sangh Parivar is creating divisions on "communal" lines among people with Government's support, party General Secretary S Sudhakar Reddy said here.
Though some Union Ministers and BJP MPs have made provocative statements, neither the Prime Minister nor the ruling party leaders condemned such comments, Reddy alleged, speaking at a meeting of CPI Telangana unit.

CPI would make efforts to mount united struggles by the Left and democratic forces against the ruling party's policies, he said, according to a statement released by the party.
Reddy also attacked Congress, saying the Sonia Gandhi-led outfit is not thinking of changing its policies and was also unable to decide whether it wants support of people or corporates.
The CPI chief asked the party cadre to work for making the May 14 'Jail Bharo' (court-arrest) agitation against the Centre's land Bill a success.
Charging the TRS Government in Telangana with failing to implement its election promises, Reddy told the party cadre to organise people's agitations against it.
