country-wide agitation against the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre to highlights its failures and accused it of working at the behest of the US and favouring corporate houses.
"CPI and other left parties will launch a country-wide agitation against the UPA government to highlight its failures and to demand among other things food for all," senior CPI leader D Raja told reporters here.
The state units would organise protests in different forms
including demonstrations and rallies, and a massive 'dharna' would also be held during the monsoon session of Parliament in New Delhi, the CPI leader said.
Slamming the Congress-led government for spiralling inflation, Raja termed as inadequate the reduction in petrol price announced by oil marketing companies last week.
