The CPI (M) today accused the BJP government in Rajasthan of ignoring the plight of farmers by taking anti-people decisions and said it will intensify its agitation against the policies of the state government.

Alleging that the farmers were not getting urea in adequate quantity and the government has taken no steps to resolve the issue, party secretary Amra Ram said, CPI (M) will hold a sit-in at Ghadsana in Sriganganagar on December 18.

"The government is taking anti-labour decision in the name of labour reforms," he said, adding, it was working to privatise education and give services like roadways and others in private hands which "would make the situation worse".

Ram also targeted the BJP government at the Centre saying it failed to keep its promise of bringing back black money stashed abroad in foreign banks.
