CPM leader B V Raghavulu today appealed to the other political parties to join in the protest against land acquisition for the Machilipatnam port and port-based industry.
Raghavulu interacted with the farmers at Pothepalli and Potlapalem villages which fall in the proposed industrial zone in Machilipatnam mandal of Krishna district.
"The land pooling system to be adopted for the project will leave the farmers unemployed," he claimed.
