In a bid to serve passengers better during Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar's Mahaparinirvan Divas (death anniversary) to be observed on December 6, Central Railway (CR) will be running 12 special suburban trains between the midnight of December 5 and 6.
These special trains will be operated on Dadar-Kurla, Dadar-Thane and Dadar-Kalyan on central line and Kurla-Mankhurd, Kurla-Vashi and Kurla-Panvel sections on the harbour line, a release issued by Central Railway mentions. These trains will halt at all the stations.
On central line, Dadar-Thane special will leave Dadar at 1.15 am and arrive Thane at 01.55 am and Dadar-Kalyan special will leave Dadar at 02.25 am and arrive at Kalyan at 3.35 am. While Dadar-Kurla special will leave Dadar at 3 am and arrive at Kurla at 3.15 am, said the release.

On harbour line, the special train will leave Kurla at 2.30 am and arrive at Mankhurd at 2.50 am. Kurla-Panvel special will leave Kurla at 3 am and arrive Panvel at 4 am, while Kurla-Vashi special will leave Kurla at 4 am and arrive at Vashi at 4.35 am, the release by Central Railway said.
Vashi-Kurla special will leave Vashi at 1.30 am and reach Kurla at 2.10 am, while Panvel-Kurla train will leave Panvel at 1.40 am and arrive at Kurla at 2.45 am. Mankhurd-Kurla special will leave Mankhurd at 3.10 am and arrive at Kurla at 3.30 am, said the statement.
